Workshops

Ed Gray is an experienced artist educator. After gaining a BA Honours in Fine Art, Ed ran community arts projects and worked as a project manager for intergenerational arts charity Magic Me and a Notting Hill Carnival Mas Band.

In 1999 he gained a PGCE in Art and Design Education from Exeter University and taught art and design  at St Thomas Apostle College, Peckham from 1999-2003. During this time he also ran workshops at primary schools in Southwark, used art as a tool for teaching special needs children and was awarded a residency in Bermuda to work as an artist where he went on to teach in a prison.

Since 2003 Ed has worked as a freelance artist educator in Southwark, devising, funding and managing community arts projects for all ages for the arts charity Camberwell Arts. During this time he has also worked as an art tutor for Tate Modern, the Peckham Education Action Zone Programme, Southwark Council Excellence in Cities Programme, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Prince’s Trust Drawing School, Hoxton.
